Uncle Grant's, LLC ("Uncle Grant's," "we," "us") provides handyman and home services in Central Florida, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through unclegrants.com, our quoting and invoicing systems, and when you contact us, how we use it, and your choices. Short version: we collect only what we need to respond to your request and do the job, and we do not sell your data.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address (if provided), service address, and a description of the job, when you submit our callback form or contact us by phone, text, or WhatsApp.
- Job records: quotes, estimates, invoices, scheduling details, notes about the work performed, and payment status.
- Payment information: we accept Zelle, Venmo, cash, bank transfer, or another method we agree on with you. We keep only what we need for our records, such as the payment method, amount, date, status, and any reference ID. Card payments, if you choose to pay by card, are handled entirely by a secure third-party payment processor. We never see or retain your card information.
- Messages and calls: the content of texts, WhatsApp messages, and voicemails you send us, and call details such as your number and time of call.
- Photos: any photos you send us or that we take to document or quote a job.
- Automatically collected information: basic technical data such as browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP address, collected through our hosting provider and standard server logs.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and schedule or quote a job.
- To prepare quotes and invoices, perform the work, and collect payment.

- Customer, job, and invoice records: as long as needed for warranty, accounting, tax, and legal requirements (generally 7 years), then deleted or anonymized.
- Photos: kept with the related job record for the same period, or deleted sooner on request where we are not required to keep them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit, restricted access to customer records, private storage for photos, and multi-factor authentication on our business accounts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you as required by Florida law.
